I was wondering how these would hold up with all the weight of the ice. Hopefully yours makes it through the winter without harm!
Against my better judgement, I think I'll keep it up as an experiment for now and see what happens.
I live in Salt Lake City and have had a simillar copper rain chain for about 10 winters without any problems. It gets iced, then melts; it gets iced, then melts.... It is on the south side of my house though.Mark in SLC
