Well, the basement is pretty much done. The two projects left there are finishing soffits on either side of the room. I have also not decided how to finish the rail/wall at the stair. Right now, we are going to live with things a little before we make any decisions.
The stairs came out nice. We put a couple coats of the Polyshades on it - the same we used on all of the woodwork in the basement. We will have to get a runner for down the center but we can wait a little while for that too. My next goal will be to measure up the windows for storms and to finish our daughter's room.

What size boards & spacing did u use? Looks nice!
The strips are 1 1/2” wide and there is a 1” space between each one. Am very happy with it, even after this many years.
