"S" is for...

I had better luck with the masking tape on this go around. I practically burnished it into the board but it worked. The lines are crisper and I have almost no touch up to do on the letter. I haven't figured out how to do the circles yet but I am sure something will come to me. I am also not completely satisfied with the overall quality. It needs something. I may get some white paint to punch a few areas up or maybe do some more line work in alternating colors. Given that I have practically no time to finish... ...why do I do this to myself?

Hey man, those look pretty darned good! In terms of the circles...instead of painting them completely freehand, why don't you find something (a coffee can, old poster tube, etc.) that is the size you want and freehand around those? That way, at least the inside edge is crisp.

Just a thought. And I agree with you on the white...I think that will punch it up a bit...doesn't Syracuse incorporate white into their jerseys/logo/etc. anyway?

Nice job! :)

I'm also running into a problem. S is the first letter in my daughter's name and orange is her favorit color. She is now throwing a fit every time I tell her this is for her cousin. What a mess.
