Stenciling

The stenciling is coming along a little better than I had hoped. The design and colors look nice in the room I'll have to write more when I am finished as there is definately a learning curve with this stuff and unlike most projects, the last groupof stencils does not look as good as the first. In the meantime, you can see the progress below.

Very cute! I like that desgin; it's not one I've seen before. One thing I learned about stencils is that you need to give them a week or so before you decide if you like them after you are done. At first all you can see are the flaws....later you can see the big picture. That, and my arms are really out of shape. It's hard work putting those things up :-)

They look very nice.

Informative post. How many stencils did you need to buy? I am planning stenciling somewhere in our house. I just haven't decided where or what.

I only bought one stencil and it got me through 10-12 tries pretty clean. I need to get a second to finish though.
