Spring 2009 Stuff is just starting to pop out of the ground. I can't wait to see what this year holds in store for the front yard. If I get the trellis in over the weekend, I'll have to update this entry.

SO much better over the years! Those juniper bushes are just so bad for the fronts of most houses.
Ack, what is it with juniper bushes?? Both bungalows I've owned have come fully equipped with deeply rooted, poorly maintained junipers--which don't offer much in the way of visual stimulation in the first place. Glad to see you yanked yours out as well--what an improvement!
I do love the evolution of your front yard. Isn't it fun to see what pops up each spring?
Great blog, and what a transformation on that front garden. We have a bungalow in Western New York - well, it's Bungalow-esque, 2.5 stories, with some traditional elements - but still a craftsmas style, with bungalow set up. Anyway - I'm thoroughly enjoying reading through your blog, and the trellis project was really great, I might have to try my hand at some of those this summer for the back.
Thanks Niaartist, we lived in Bflo for about 7 years and it has some pretty awesome architecture. We miss it sometimes. Do people say that about Buffalo? I look forward to checking out your blog.
